On September 17, 2016, Stellium together with its partners launched its first ever event, Harm(onic) Reduction. It was a full day celebration and music festival held in downtown Oakland which aimed to spread awareness on the issue against human trafficking and exploitation. Over the past few months of planning and organizing the event we have garnered overwhelming support from various leaders, advocates and music artists. It is with their support and engagement that we were able to make this event a reality and success.
Back in 2011, the US Secretary of State (then) and now U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton visited the Philippines. Stellium co-founder, Malaya Van Kleek, was there and able to get Hilary Clinton's personal stand on human trafficking.
